Price lists, spec comparisons and schedules usually go on a page as a plain table, and a visitor hunting for the cheapest plan or the latest date has to scan every row. Wrap the table you already have in the mount point and each column heading becomes a button that cycles through ascending, descending and the original order. Prices with currency symbols, percentages and dates compare by value rather than as text, so $1,200 comes after $900. Typing in the box above the table leaves only the matching rows. A long table scrolls inside its own box with the heading row kept in view, and a wide one slides sideways on a narrow screen.
