Delete account and data

You can ask us to delete your BootSignal account and the data attached to it. Requests are handled within 30 days of receipt.
What gets deleted
- Widgets you created and their settings (comments, ratings, countdown and so on)
- Registered sites and API keys
- Credit balance and subscription history (credits are forfeited, not refunded)
What is kept
- Payment records: kept for the period required by law, used only for accounting and dispute handling.
- Aggregated statistics that cannot identify a person: these cannot be traced back to an account, so they remain.
How to request
The button below opens a deletion request email. If you are signed in, your account identifier is filled in automatically. If not, please include the email address you signed up with.
Sign in to have your identifier filled in automatically. You can also request deletion by email without signing in.
What happens next
We verify the request, delete the data, and reply when it is done. If we cannot verify ownership we may ask for more information. Deletion cannot be undone.
