Adding a search box to a blog or a docs site used to mean running a search server or wiring up a hosted index. This widget reads the pages listed in your sitemap right in the visitor's browser, builds the index there, and shows results as excerpts with the terms highlighted plus anchor links to the headings inside each page. The index stays on the visitor's device for a day and nothing is stored on a server. Choose an inline box or a modal that opens with ⌘K.
