Chat Button

Let visitors reach you on the messenger they already use

Offer several ways to get in touch and they end up scattered across the page: a KakaoTalk button here, a phone number there, an Instagram link in the footer. Write the values for the channels you use on the mount point and one button appears in a bottom corner of the screen; press it and the channels open on a single card, each row a plain link to that channel. For a KakaoTalk channel you only need the profile ID from the channel URL in the Kakao channel partner center. The row opens the channel's 1:1 chat at the channel URL plus /chat, so unlike the chat button in Kakao's SDK there is no app key or SDK domain to register. Kakao's documentation says visitors who are not signed in go through Kakao sign-in before the chat opens. Naver TalkTalk takes the account ID from the chat window address, and phone and text take the number as you print it. WhatsApp needs the number in international format, starting with the country code. An Instagram DM opens through an ig.me link, which Meta documents as not supported on Instagram on the web, and a LINE Official Account chat opens in the LINE app on a phone; LINE for PC does not support it. Add your hours and, outside them, one line on the card says replies may take longer. The hours are read in the time zone you set, not on the visitor's device, and use the same format as the Open Hours widget. You can change the button's corner, color and text and the card's first line. Included in the BootSignal subscription ($20/mo or $200/yr, every widget on 1 domain, add more from the dashboard). Unlimited buttons while subscribed.
