Browser Check
One line that says whether your browser is current
It reads the browser and version a visitor is on, compares that against the official current stable release, and says either that they are current or that an update is available. It does not diagnose vulnerabilities or hand out a score. It does not probe features or enumerate plugins, and the only request that leaves the page fetches the version table. The comparison happens inside the visitor’s browser. If the browser cannot be identified, or the table cannot be fetched, the widget renders nothing at all. An empty slot beats a wrong "update your browser".
Demo
A real verdict on the browser you are reading this in, nothing renders when the browser cannot be identified
Integration
Rendering is free. The snippet above works with no site registration and no subscription. data-layout picks between a one-line pill and a two-line card, and a card reads better in a footer or a sidebar. With an active subscription, data-attribution="off" removes the Powered by BootSignal link.
Pricing
The embed itself is free. Removing the link is part of a BootSignal subscription ($20 a month or $200 a year, every widget, one domain). See full pricing →
