- What does the badge (e.g. AAA 12.6:1) mean?
- It is the WCAG contrast ratio between the lightest and darkest color in that palette, the best possible text/background pair you can build from it. AAA means 7:1 or higher, AA means 4.5:1 or higher, a plain ratio means it falls short of both.
- Can I check other color pairs from a palette?
- Yes. Copy any two hex codes into the contrast tool to check a specific text/background combination, not just the lightest-darkest pair shown here.
- Is anything uploaded or tracked?
